1. A doctor undergoes a long formation period before he receives the title of plastic surgeon.
But during the whole period of study the doctors are operating in public hospitals and/or public university clinics where is merely performed classical surgery or reconstructive surgery, not plastic surgery. Just a couple of short term stages in private clinics are not enough to learn the large field of modern plastic surgery.
It means that a young plastic surgeon knows the art of reconstructive surgery, but has still to finalize the much finer art of plastic surgery over additional years of private experience within private clinics on the side of the few experienced names on this field in this city.

2. Plastic Surgery is an extending field with different areas of specialization. A plastic surgeon which -for instance- specializes in the area of facial rejuvenation through postgraduate formation and routine, achieves the better, more natural results. Each plastic surgeon develops his own areas of strengths and routine during his professional life.
