The
anamnestic examination represents one of the most
important parts in terms of safety of each plastic
surgery in general anesthesia and is therefore one
of the first steps toward the operation. Not every 'patient'
shall or can undergo a plastic surgery operation.
Based on the accurate information provided with the
anamnestic questionnaire our doctors receive a quite
helpful and concrete picture over the general health
status of the patient.
Separate
or 'connected procedure'. Generally
the patients who come to our clinic for a
separate consultation with the specialist will carry
out the anamnestic in the clinic. The patient who
prefers to connect the term of consultation with the
term of operation may print out the
anamnestic questionnaire [at disposition in the reserved area] or
request it by email, fill it out accurately and send
it back to us for the doctors examination. If no contraindication
arises from
the anamnestic data, the
doctors will give the 'green light' for an eventually combined term of consultation and
operation [if the patient so wishes]. In this case
also the diagnostics can be carried out after the arrival in our clinic,
before the operation.
In
the case of a contraindication, the operation will
not be carried out, because the patients safety has
always first priority. In the case of uncertainty,
our doctors usually ask
the patient to carry out the diagnostics
in the near center at home and send us the results
for the check up. With that our doctors help to make sure that all is fine
even before your arrival.
