the augmentation of the
volume.
Methods
and procedures
Implants:
Through a
small incision inside the
fold between the buttocks a
pocket is created beneath
the gluteus muscle in the
upper part of the buttock,
where the implant is
positioned.
Fat transfer:
Fat is
harvested through
liposuction on other parts
of the body, properly
prepared and injected.
However, the outcome with
this technique is difficult
to foresee, because
transferred fat is partially
-and sometimes irregularly-
reabsorbed by the organism.

Recovery
Swelling
and bruising disappear
usually within the next 7-14
days. Recovery time is
8-12 days. During the first
30-40 days after the surgery
sporty activities should be
avoided.
Longevity
Apart
from the limited life span
of the implants themselves,
the result of buttocks
augmentation is indefinite.
Notes
Smokers
usually have to count on an
extended recovery time after
surgery. The risk of
complications is higher than
with nonsmokers. The
classical muscular
injections have to be
avoided in the case that
implants are used.
