Purpose
The
Laser Dermatovenerology
removes dermatological irregularities and skin blemishes
in order to improve the
appearance of the skin on
the face, the legs, and the
body.
Methods
and procedures
Irregularities are removed with the
Vascular Laser
which produces
intense high energy light at
particular wavelengths,
which is preferentially
absorbed by the red cells of
the blood, and not by the
normal skin. Green light is
absorbed by the melanin or
the pigmentation.

Healing
The treated area becomes red and swollen. Sometimes blistering or
a fine scab may form at the
treated area for some days.
In some cases -after green
light treatment- redness of
the skin (erythema) can
remain for up to several
months.
Result
& Longevity
Dermatological
irregularities and skin blemishes can be removed usually
effectively and permanently.
Notes
The treated area should not be exposed to the sun for at
least one month following
the laser treatment.
Many factors like the color of the skin, and the size of the
vessels and their depth
affect the patient's
response to the treatment.
Light skin responds better
than dark skin.
