Purpose
& procedure
The
MAC
Lift forms in some cases a sinful
compromise between the complete SMAS
Face Lift and the Endoscopic Mid Face
Lift and represents frequently the
ideal solution for the younger patient
with skin relaxation in the mid face
area. The
incision is limited along [behind] the
hairline above the ears and along the
cease in front of the ear. No incision
is placed behind the ear. The area of
undermining includes the side-portion
of the cheek, but is generally much
smaller than with the SMAS Face lift.
The
underlying connective tissue is
repositioned and suspended with the
use of permanent sutures. Surplus skin
can be removed.
The
tissue suspension of the MAC Lift riches down to the
area of the neck/jowls. Through the
elevation/shift of the malar fat pad
the nasolabial folds are reduced. The
procedure is frequently combined with
the lower eyelid lift and/or a facial
[submental] liposuction.

stay

days
Recovery
Application
of a special light
compressive garment for
one-three days, depending on
need and the extent of the
operation. Stitches are
removed after 12-14 days.
After that it is possible to
use make up again. Swelling
may be present for 7-14
days.
Longevity
The
result of the MAC Lift is basically
permanent. However,
it does not stop the aging
process. The achieved
rejuvenating effects
diminish in a natural way
over the course of time.
