What determines the price of an operation ?

Among the criteria which make it possible to evaluate the trustworthiness of a specialist up to a certain degree also from further away, is his/her price strategy. The price of a plastic operation consists of a non complete or a complete surgical service, in that respect affecting trustworthiness, clarity and seriosity.

Apparently low prices can refer to incomplete surgical service and with a series of expensive additional costs it can turn into a real surprise. The following practices of price masking policies are known to be practiced by some specialists and clinics. We recommend to consider them if you make price comparisons, but also for your general evaluations:

Hospital stay

An unnecessary and expensive hospital stay after the treatment in local anesthesia can become requested, or the hospital stay can be unexpectedly extended with expensive auxiliary costs.

Preoperative examinations

The otherwise uncommon preliminary investigations for treatments under local anesthesia can be required and carried out after arrival in the clinic, for an usually high price.

Assistance &Arrangement

Bad assistance, or none at all, for preparation and arrangement.

Medication

Medicines and bandages are charged separately (and usually expensive).

Postoperative care, checks

Poor postoperative care is provided and check up’s are charged.

Revision operation

Eventually, correction or revision operation is charged.

Answer: Aesthetia is a private association among Czech plastic surgeons. Each of our plastic surgeons has his own pricelist. The different prices reflect different degrees of experiences and specializations. The online care team in our international central care office is assigned to provide the pricelists along with the complete CV's of our specialists, and detailed information about our establishments inside the reserved area, on individual requirement. About: Low cost surgery

Aesthetia surgeons may not offer the cheapest services in this country. As in all areas of medicine, health and surgery, as especially also in the area of the low cost surgery or so called inexpensive plastic surgery, we suggest to be very careful, in a particular degree for patients who consider to have their surgery in another country. No real good plastic surgeon will ever offer his skills cheaply. In essence, there is a contraindication in the nature of things.
