Purpose & procedure 

With the Silhouette technique through a small incision placed at the sides of the temporal area right behind the hair line resolvable high quality anti-drooping suturing SYLOID threads are placed (using special thin needle cannulas) underneath the skin surface on the area to be treated.

The operation is carried out in local anesthesia, ambulatory, or analgosedation with one night in the clinic and is almost risk-free. The lifting effect is realized through a traction thus repositioning of the relaxed cutaneous tissues through the special threads, whose particular structure has been specifically projected in order to lift and fix the soft tissue of the face back into its original natural position. In contrast to the Aptos technique > with the positioning of the SYLOID threads the tissue is not only lifted but additionally suspended and fixed in its new position through the application of special [resolvable] extra-tiny patches/nets. This renders the Silhouette lift more efficient than any other type of threat lift technique.

Once positioned, suspended and fixed the Silhouette thread induces a natural reactive fibrotic reaction causing the natural tightening of the treated area and the long term stabilization of the result which lasts several years, depending on the patients age but also on the area to be treated and the number of threats applied threads applied.  The treatment can be repeated.

Note: Based on our long term experience the Aesthetia Specialists recommend to require the use of original SYLOID , which are the only one with the new successful patented system, and covered with the CE mark guaranteeing, which stands for a functionality and quality controlled product. The resolvable threads and special fixation nets dissolve within 1-2 months after the treatment. Thanks to the induced natural tightening of the treated areas, the result lasts for years.
