We
will make sure that you be in a
correct
health status
for
the procedure,
through the regular anamnestic and diagnostics. Performing
liposuction on those
with chronic illnesses (suffering
from diabetes or having heart or lung disease, for
example) can pose a higher than normal risk.
Optimal candidates
are people of close to normal weight,
with
elastic skin and a local fat layer, which does not
respond to diet or exercise. The ideal candidate is
healthy, and approaches surgery psychologically relaxed
and with realistic expectations.
Despite
the fact that the skin loses elasticity over time,
the
age
of the
patient is not critical. However, results
will be
slightly limited with older patients.
