Initial numbness 

After the operation the patient will feel a slight initial numbness on the operated areas. This is normal. With a SMAS full face lift or the full facial rejuvenation surgery the initial numbness may concern the whole face. The normal feeling comes back in the course of the coming days and weeks.

 Make Up 

During the first days after the surgery any make up shall possibly be avoided, in order to not affect the healing. After 1 week it is possible to start using make up carefully and when necessary. After the removal of the stitches any make up can again normally applied.

 Good quality skin care 

Immediately after the removal of the stitches it is recommended to resume the regular skin care using high quality products.

 Medizines and narcotics 

Any consumption of alcohol, nicotine, pain killers and sleep drugs may be avoided in the period of 30 days before and 30 days after the surgery.
