The consumption of nicotine and alcohol should be stopped 30 days before the surgery in order to guarantee a problem-free healing process.

Illnesses

No acute illness should occur at least three weeks before the planned operation (viruses, flu etc.).

Health and anamnestic

It is very important to inform us about any past or current problem, eventually complaints, regular use of medicines, or if you are under any kind of medical treatment. Please use our anamnestic questionnaire to accurately inform us about your general health status.

Pain and sleeping drugs

Fourteen days before the operation the intake of anti-blood clotting medication, sleeping pills and pain relievers like Aspirin should be avoided.

In the hours before the operation

You may not eat or drink 6 hours before your surgery.

Before the operation the specialist takes a pre-operative photo for patient documentation.

Preparation

No nail varnish, make-up, jewelry should be worn. Hairs may be washed.
